Historique :	Ce reliquaire renferme une relique de la vraie Croix ; elle est accompagnée de quatre documents ; une attestation par François Mayer, datée du 15 février 1773, prévôt de l'église métropolitaine de Vienne, attestant que cette relique de la vraie Croix a été extraite du trésor de la maison d'Autriche ; autorisation par Mr de Juigne, archevêque de Paris, d'exposer cette relique dans son diocèse en 1783 ; approbation de la relique par Monseigneur Dupanloup, évêque d'Orléans en 1875 ; une note : relique de la vraie Croix envoyée de Rome à l'abbé de l'Epée, instituteur des sourds-muets, donnée à l'église de Pleumartin par Ida _Ysore de Pleumartin Hérbault, marquise de Triquerville, en 1944.
