Historique :	Un Saint Paul faisait autrefois pendant à cette statue (encore signalé en 1948) ; il n'a pas pu être retrouvé.

Précision sur_l'état :	Manque le bras gauche.
Précision_sur la representation :	Le saint est debout, de face, en appui sur le pied gauche, le pied droit en avant, le genou fléchi. Il tient sous le bras droit un livre à double fermoir. Il est vêtu d'une longue robe à col rabattu, boutonnée devant. La manche est courte et flottante. Une fibule ferme le col, une autre orne l'épaule. Une ceinture nouée sur l'abdomen fait blouser la robe à la taille. Les deux pieds sont nus. La figure présente un nez légèrement busqué, une barbe frisée, une moustache relevée et des cheveux bouclés. Le crâne est chauve avec un toupet sur le devant du front.
